March 4, 201610 yr So it's a special order type deal. CM is lower, but you use up idle capacity based on projected home market (China) growth in sales that leaves some capacity leftover for exports. Yeah... when the fixed costs become relevant again, then GM should not be importing from China, they would indeed have more profit by selling the units back in China.
