I'm pretty sure that putting a smallblock over the rear axle of a DeLorean is a horrible idea. But here it is:

Pushrod technology would only allow you to go back in time.

There is a block feature that prevents you from visiting the future with such old tech.

I'm betting he could probably sell a few conversion kits based on his work. But I'm still a bit baffled by a rear-engined car packing a V8. Even Porsche put flat sixes in the 911 rather than vees. It should be a monster in a straight line tho
