Shirley you're joking, RIGHT?

Did you even watch any of the EV Drags? Yes some are freakin funny, but Don's run is awesome and that would be freaking fun, no joking for any speed freak, the true EV dragsters kill the speed and time faster than a petrol does.

Why are we holding NASCAR up as the standard for endurance racing? It's the Walmart of racing, the lowest common denominator, the lowest of skill requirements, the easiest of mechanical requirements.

Sorry Drew but that is not true at all and I'm not the biggest NASCAR fan in the world here (even though I was raised in the heart of NASCAR country for 35 years). All racing is hard as hell.

It was a comment on relativity. Yes all racing is hard.  Compared to the other forms of racing, NASCAR is the least difficult of the endurance tests.  Furthermore, all racing is endurance testing, even drag racing, the endurance is just measured in a different way (How much horsepower can you make in as short a distance as possible without breaking something?)

NASCAR is relatively constant speed, with relatively few changes in engine RPM, relatively little braking, and relatively easy cornering.   I'm comparing Nascar to Formula 1, Rally Racing, FIA-WEC, and off-road. Six hours on the Nürburgring is a heck of a lot tougher on the car and driver(s) than 4 hours at Mt. Pocono.
