"I got the call today, I didn't want to hear

but I knew that it would come"

Though technically it was yesterday... got to head back to Ohio this week and plan a funeral...and I just feel numb...

Lot of that kinda thing going on lately. Hang in there, be strong.

My Mother passed, age 85..16 years after my Dad.   We were somewhat estranged, hadn't spoken much in recent months.   Just kind of numb right now, not sure what to think...flying back there in a couple days.

My condolences.

Hang tough Moltar, not easy under most any circumstances, but a part of life.

85 is a good long run. Hope things go smoothly back home.

The hardest part will be having to deal w/ my older brother..he doesn't 'have both oars in the water' as the funeral home director put it kindly yesterday..my sister and I are flying back Tuesday, my Mom's surviving sister and brother coming in from Kentucky and Tennessee, some cousins also.

Its been exactly 2 weeks that I received the news about my mommy.

 

Hang in there.

 

Grieve the way you wanna grieve.

Grieve  as much as you want,  however you want.

And just stand tall and proud because we only have one momma.

Moltar, I am sorry to hear about your mother.  No, we cannot pick our family, but times like these serve to remind us where we come from, warts and all.  Please take care and travel safe.

My condolences, very sorry for your loss.  Events like this can sometimes bring certain closures and i wish the best for you and family, gathering this week.
