March 18, 201610 yr So, moving on, we will now use cars that 2.0-2.9 liters of displacement. So all of you people dropping 2.0's in the last thread, here ya go. Rules- *Production cars only. *Any era and market are allowed. *These are your only vehicles. *Maximum of 5 choices. *Choices must have engine displacement ranging from 2.0 to 2.9 liters. Lots of awesome choices available here, so there should be some good lists.
March 18, 201610 yr Alrighty. Now we're talking. 1) Ferrari F40 (2.9L) 2) Ferrari 288 GTO (2.8L) 3) Porsche 959 (2.85L) 4) Cadillac CT6 2.0T (2.0L) 5) GMC Canyon Duramax (2.8L diesel) 6) Chevrolet Camaro 2.0T coupe 7) Chevrolet Caamro 2.0T droptop
March 18, 201610 yr Yeah I think this will be the most difficult. Everybody makes a variation of damn-near everything with a small 4cyl turbo!

March 18, 201610 yr 1. 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais 442 5-speed manual (190hp in a 2,600 lbs car) 2.3 liters 2. Saturn Sky Red-Line 6-speed (2.0T) 3. 2012 Saab 9-5 2.8T Sport Combi AWD (one of the 27 made) 4. 2016 Volvo S90 T6 AWD (2.0 turbo AND super) 5. 2016 Volvo XC90 T6 AWD Inscription (same engine as above)
March 18, 201610 yr 1. Volvo XC90 T6 Inscription (2.0L four-cylinder super and turbocharged) 2. Volkswagen Golf R (Turbo 2.0L) 3. Honda Accord Sport (2.4L 16-Valve four-cylinder) 4. Porsche 718 Boxster (Turbo 2.0L) 5. BMW 328d Sports Wagon (2.0L Turbodiesel)
March 18, 201610 yr I remember choosing the Oldsmobile Calais 442 when this Dream Garage debuted over at MT forums... Do I continue on with it? We will see....because I like to be different...so Drew...you stole that Olds from me!!! OK...family sedan 1. 2017 Ford Fusion Sport 2.7 liter ecoboosted V6 2. Ive learned about Skylines somewhat along the way...and I would want a R33 GT-R 2.6 liter TT inline 6. 3. Drew...I got no choice but to take the Olds 442....I almost always take an Oldsmobile in these Dream Garages....especially if the "442" moniker is involved. 4. Time for my convertible. 2.3 liter ecoboosted 4 Mustang...sorry Camaro...I may prefer your engine and your chassis...but I hate your looks.... 5. I NEVER choose these types of cars...Porsches, Vettes...but because Sled aint here...I owe it to him to carry the Porsche flame! 2.7 liter..1973 Porsche Carrera RS. But if it werent for my honour choice...Id probably go with this car instead from Europe...diesel 2.8liter V6...Jeep.
March 19, 201610 yr 2012 E350 Bluetec (which had a 2.987 liter engine) if that counts for 3 liter, then I'd pick an E250 Bluetec or a 2017 E300 for everyday use. Ferrari F40 for sure, still one of the best super cars ever. Mercedes 280SL for a convertible, in silver though. And we save the best for last, the Ferrari 250 California, with a 2.95 liter V12
March 20, 201610 yr Eh for sake of convenience I'm just going by new cars - Fusion Sport 2.7T - Lincoln MKX Black Label 2.7T (I'm just in love with the styling when it's in black and the brown leather. I would also try to get body colour painted cladding. It'll make the thing look kinda sexifull. For a crossover. Plus, I really want to re-enact Matthew Mcconaughey dream sequence on my own because technology and stuff). - Mazda CX-9 2.5T - Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio (Why not?) - Volvo V90 T8 Honourable mentions to CT6, and Canyonado, but I'd like them fully loaded in my dreams, and otherwise would never settle for their smaller displacement engines. And in my dreams I'm not worried about paying for gas/diesel, so please f**** the eco and GIMME ALL THEM BOOST.

March 21, 20169 yr Author After many failed attempts, here we go- BMW E30 M3 Evo 2- Back road fun. Mk7 Golf R- My DD. Porsche 959- Weekend fun car. Ferrari 288 GTO- Track use and special events. Chevy Colorado Duramax- Primary family ride and off road fun.
March 21, 20169 yr Well I think I got my list.. There are just so many "average" cars to pull from in this price range. First two will probably be my daily divers. Both sporting the twin turbo 2.7. Lincoln MKX 2.7 F150 FX4 2.7 Focus RS I feel like it would be stupid NOT to get an F40 because of just what the heck the car is and how glorious it is. That leaves me with one other car... first instinct is that I want a Grand National or maybe a Cayman(base, because the GTS and GT4 use a 3.4l engine) but I think I'd go back to Ford because I want to be able to drive these cars and the Grand National I wouldn't want to drive much to protect it and the Cayman would never be practical.. I think I might get a 2.3 Mustang and fiddle around with trying to make more power! I guess I just wouldn't worry about breaking or wrecking or whatever on a new Mustang but a GN is history. I'd want to park that next to the F40. Ya know what? As I'm typing this I'm wanting the GN more and more to park next to the F40. Pitch Black next to bright Ferrari Red. honorable mentions... Audi RS3 Sportback 2.5T Mustang EcoBoost
March 21, 20169 yr Good call on the F-150 Ecoboost... I'd probably swap into that if I can't find one of the 1 of 27 Saab 9-5 Wagons.
March 21, 20169 yr ^ Gnarly Porsche! And that was older when I just didn't like the design of Porsches much at all but that looks gooooood. Okay I'm just a huge freakin stupid head and I have absolutely no clue why I put the Grand National on my list.. I think maybe I mixed the two threads and didn't even think twice about it. Well take that out(for obvious reasons) and put in the ...Cayman... No. Mustang. ..maybe Cayman.. Naahhhhhh Mustang!

First car, Ford Capri, the "European Mustang. some variation with a 2.0-2.9 Liter motor. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Capri Alfa 2000 GTV, preferably set up for vintage racing with an SVRA logbook and proper cage/fire suppression/trailer.
October 31, 20169 yr Horrible pic, I will find something better.... Better on the Alfa.... Porsche 914-6 Once again, properly set up to drive in anger. Just because I can and because I think it would be fun, Mustang II Cobra. Purely for sentimental reasons because my old friend Allen and i from high school had so much fun in his.
October 31, 20169 yr 1. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2.9 tubro 6 2. GMC Canyon All Terrain 2.8 Diesel Toyota 86 2.0 boxer 4 VW Golf R 2.0T Focus RS 2.3T
