May 11, 200619 yr Man, I LOVE those scoops around the turn signals... even though they make no aerodynamic sense, they look SWEET.
May 11, 200619 yr The front bumper is a little too ricey for me. I think Caddy should improve the STS-V so there would be no need for a super model.
May 11, 200619 yr So... what would this Super V offer in terms of power: A more powerful SC Northstar? The LS7?
May 11, 200619 yr Author Computer upgrade, intake upgrade, exhaust upgrade, supercharger pulley upgrade, suspension upgrade... Maybe more.. I don't have ALL the details yet..
May 11, 200619 yr Computer upgrade, intake upgrade, exhaust upgrade, supercharger pulley upgrade, suspension upgrade... Maybe more.. I don't have ALL the details yet.. Sounds like enough to put it over 500hp.
May 11, 200619 yr That rendering looks SICK! The bumper reminds me of the Hamann 911 bumper a little bit though... http://www.cdes.cn/Article/UploadFiles/200...06164136569.jpg
May 12, 200619 yr Will that color be an option? It should be white hot to dark blue hot? is this going to be the "corvette sedan" trim? cst? so close to cts maybe "corvette trim sedan"...ther...oh wait it's an sts... darn.
May 12, 200619 yr Computer upgrade, intake upgrade, exhaust upgrade, supercharger pulley upgrade, suspension upgrade... Maybe more.. I don't have ALL the details yet.. Aha, so this 'Super V' would be Cadillac's equivalent of the Audi RS badge while the regular V would be the equivalent of Audi's S badge.
May 12, 200619 yr Okay, so maybe the "Super V" series could be a series of cars dedicated to doing a 4 second 0-60? That's a tall order. Hmmm... it'd be nice if they were really done up like the sketch--really tweaked on the inside--very luxurious and sporty interiors. The current CTS-V, STS-V, and XLR-V interiors just don't have enough sportiness to go with their power under the hoods.
May 12, 200619 yr The current CTS-V, STS-V, and XLR-V interiors just don't have enough sportiness to go with their power under the hoods. Maybe this is the perfect way to introduce an interior redesign
May 12, 200619 yr Maybe this is the perfect way to introduce an interior redesign Or they could be talking about an aftermarket tuner, since there are accompanying photos as well, undisguised and in the open.
May 12, 200619 yr So... what would this Super V offer in terms of power: A more powerful SC Northstar? The LS7? - ECU upgrade - stainless steel headers - special vehicle badging - full stainless steel exhaust - exterior enhancement package - special edition tail lamps - supercharger pulley upgrade - functional roof spoiler - carbon fiber airbox - sport tuned suspension upgrade all right from the factory to your showroom floor, prettty cool. Still I wish more than anything that they woudl give it a fully manual transmission, like a real gearshift & a clutchpedal. I was so proud of Cadillac & GM when they made the CTS-V a manual only car.
May 12, 200619 yr - ECU upgrade - stainless steel headers - special vehicle badging - full stainless steel exhaust - exterior enhancement package - special edition tail lamps - supercharger pulley upgrade - functional roof spoiler - carbon fiber airbox - sport tuned suspension upgrade I saw the drawing and didn't click on the link So, an upgraded SC Northstar. I hope it's rated @ or above 500hp. all right from the factory to your showroom floor, prettty cool. Still I wish more than anything that they woudl give it a fully manual transmission, like a real gearshift & a clutchpedal. I was so proud of Cadillac & GM when they made the CTS-V a manual only car. I'd like to see manuals in all V-series Cadillacs too. Or they could be talking about an aftermarket tuner, since there are accompanying photos as well, undisguised and in the open. Like what Alpina does to BMW models? Edited May 12, 200619 yr by ZL-1
