J.D. Powers is changing the way they survey car quality. Their surveys will now go more in depth, asking consumer for specifics on defects in quality. A two category breakdown, defects & malfunctions and design problems, will seperate niggling design issues from more serious problems that effect automobile reliability. More at the link.
