You've got your timeline out of wack.  One corporation was in financial distress well before the financial crash hit, that's why they took the steps they did.  Three ships were sailing along. The

  • My point was that when you're trying to make the same model in different markets losing that kind of power and torque to meet local laws is pretty chintzy. It's the kind of thing you'd see from Lambor

Honestly, who puts forth so much effort hating a brand.

I don't like Hyundai or Nissan, yet I don't feel compelled in the slightest, to fill multiple forums with vitriolic jive.

Sounds like the engines aren't global.. not the platform.

It's always something with Dearborn. $h!e just gets old, and eventually you see the results.

Be interesting to see with GM having a Global EV auto, Bolt. Who is next to actually deliver a global EV auto. Yes we have lots of options that are announced but actually delivering is another thing.

I am actually surprised to not see Ford here with a diverse Global Hybrid lineup.

Yes, but Tesla bleeds cash on a daily basis. GM is in a much better shape, as is Ford, to take advantage of the market for Hybrids and electrics.

VW/Audi technology si weak here, the E- Golf is not a terribly good product, nor is the Leaf.
