May 16, 200619 yr I've went through about a fuse a night now which tells me I have a problem I no its gonna require some tracing which I'm not going to like so where would be the best place to start I have a few ideas but would like to know if anyone else had more experience with these shorts... Its my 85 Riviera if that would help so where should I start the circuit only is composed of dash lighting and the tail lights.

May 31, 200619 yr Yeah... A likely place.... Pull the RR seat cushion & seat back, and look for wear and/or compression as the tailight wires pass under and thru into the trunk have a short there- find it you will- I/P & tailight same circuit If its not, the door sill trim or screws might be biting the same circuit Edited May 31, 200619 yr by mightymouse
