March 27, 20178 yr So in an attempt to spice things up a bit, I had an idea for a new 'Dream Garage'. It's somewhat similar to one I've done before in that there will be criteria to follow, but with freedom within those criteria. I will give you a segment of vehicle that you can choose from; and there will be price brackets that you assign to those segments as you prefer. Rules- 1- You must have ONE off-road vehicle. Truck or SUV. 2- You must have ONE daily driver. This is open. 3- You must have ONE long-distance cruiser/GT vehicle. It must be a 2+2 or 4 door. 4- You must have ONE weekend back road burner/track car. It has to be a 2 door. 5- ALL OF THE SELECTIONS HAVE TO BE NEW VEHICLES CURRENTLY ON SALE, OR PENDING WITH CONFIRMED PRICING. 6- One vehicle must be between 45-50K in price. 7- One must be between 27-30K in price. 8- One must be between 35-40K in price. 9- One must be between 65-70K in price. Have fun!!

March 27, 20178 yr Toyota Tacoma SR5 4X4, Access Cab. - Off-Road, 27-30k 2017 Tacoma GT350R Back road/track 65-70k Mercedes C300 w/ AMG wheels and a couple other small things to keep it under 50k - Long Distance GT Down to my 35-40k Daily Driver... I really enjoyed the size of my Escape but let's class it up a bit, MKC Reserve. 2.0T, AWD - 35-40k. (I couldn't squeeze a Black Label in here though...)
March 28, 20178 yr This was easier than I thought... 1. as my off-roader/SUV in the 27-30K in price range. Jeep Wrangler Sahara Limited base 2. as my week-end warrior AND track car in the 35-40K in price range. Fiat 124 spyder Abarth 3. I figured, since I also have an expensive 4 door cruiser as an option, and I burned up my week-end warrior car with a small roadster, I might as well daily drive a real bonafide 2 door muscle car! Dodge Challenger SRT392 in the 45-50K in price 4. Long Distance boulevard cruiser in the 65-70K in price. Cadillac CT6 3.6
March 28, 20178 yr Easy? Man, I had this up in the background at work for hours! Haha my hardest part was figuring what categories I wanted to spend money on.

Let me explain why. I read Frogger's remark about how his offroader was the lowest amount as that category would be the least utilized and I went from there myself. I added to that logic, what are the categories and cars I cherish the most and which will I drive the most. I figured, why spend a ton on a track car when tracking aint my thing and why choose an SUV offroader loaded to the gills? The 1st and 2nd price categories with the type of vehicle was selected... I wanted to spend 35-40 on the Wrangler 75th anniversary model, but that wouldnt leave me much for an enjoyable and sexy week-end warrior track car in the ever so miniscule amount of 27-30. When I figured, thanx to Frogger, that the Wrangler is a decent offroader for dirt cheap, it paved the way for me to enjoy Italian sexiness with Mazda road and track awesomeness. Then, as I explained in the post itself, the daily driver was simple as phoque...I daily drive a Challenger 392 and I aint apologizing motherphoquer!!! Then it was just a matter of choosing what luxury ride I want. I really wanted a BMW 6 Series Gran Sport but the car breaks the budget allowed. Edited March 28, 20178 yr by oldshurst442
March 30, 20178 yr Author It's interesting to see how some of the cars were multiple posters' selections. I think that says a lot about a vehicle.

April 28, 20178 yr Ok, here goes. Off road truck or SUV Power Wagon. 59K Daily driver Power Wagon already paid for. I daily drive my truck. Long distance Power Wagon,. It was the crew cab. Already paid for. I would use the fully optioned luxury truck for long distance with my travel trailer/toy hauler. I believe that takes care of one price category. Leaving me to combine the others making about 120k available. Track burner Hellcat or Demon if the Demon is in 120K budget. Done

Yea, I know it's not quite what he had in mind. But I read the rules and there is nothing about not using one vehicle to cover more than one category. I did have to rethink it a bit because of the NEW vehicle Claus. . But didn't break any rules. Edited April 28, 20178 yr by Scout
