Rules for this one are simple....5 choices....but must be five different decades.  Must be generally recognizable as a luxury car.  A lotus Elise does not qualify.

That's all she wrote for rules.  A decade is 1960-1969, 1970-1979, etc...

Interested to see what you all come up with.

2010 + : Continental GTC- I absolutely adore these cars, so easy choice. My topless driver's car of the group.

2000's:  2008 Jaguar XJ Super V8 Portfolio- Because just look at it.

90's: BMW E38 750- Greatest 7 Series ever made.

80's: 1989 Lexus LS400- At the time, nothing else was even close. A total game-changer.

70's: Lamborghini Jarama- This is a luxo GT coupe, so I firmly believe it should count.

Luxury GT coupes absolutely count!

All of your selections were off the charts good...but that Jag of all things is pure automotive Lust for me!

In the spirit of the challenge, I am limiting myself to just brands that are beyond any doubt a luxury brand.... otherwise I just keep posting pictures of the '66 Toronado.

1920s:

1929 Duesenberg

1930s:

Cord 812

1950s

The '57 Eldorado Brougham

1960s:

1967 Eldorado (Surprise! :neenerneener:)

1980s

1985 Cadillac Seville (this exact color combo)

If a 6th car was allowed, I'd go with a '77 Lincoln Mark V

That Eldorado is just drop dead gorgeous.  Love the photography in that shot also!

Cord is the one I would most want to own of that bunch.

Very fond memories of that era of Lincoln also.

Which Eldog photo did you like?

The 67 was by far the best.  I am a sucker for cars of the era like the Eldorado, Charger, Couger, RS Camaro, Lincoln, et al with hideaway headlights.

Also have a fetish for all black cars so combine the two...

1. 1930 Cadillac Boattail  V16 (since I already chose a Duesy in the other thread and Drew chose one here)

Since seeing the Great Gatsby a several months ago, the Black and White version AND the DiCaprio one, Im REALLY into 1930s cars as of late...that is why I recently bought a 1935? Duesenberg 1:18 from Greenlight a couple of weeks ago...

2. 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible Biarritz (so far Drew, we very similar)

3. 1970 Lincoln Mark III4806250-1969-lincoln-continental-mark-ii

4. 1969 Cadillac Coupe Deville

5. Bentley Mulsanne Speed

Seems like it would be an enjoyable party.

My list...

1920's-1930's-blower Bentley, 55 built-5 racing cars, 50 homologation cars...

1950's, Gull wing Mercedes....

1960's Iso Grifo.....even comes with GM power!

1970's, bicentennial Cadillac convertible, one of the last 200 full size Cadillac convertibles made...

I love the Jag F type, but it kind of has been over done in the Dream car garage series...picking an AMG GT S instead...

@A Horse With No Name I feel like your list is really pushing the boundaries of 'luxury cars', lol.

And here I was feeling bad about my Jarama pick. I had a 64 Continental on standby if it didn't work.

It probably is...but it is against my DNA somehow to buy or love a normal car.
