August 12, 20178 yr BIG DISCOUNTS on Cruze diesels right now. Huge incentives and discounts, in particular I have seen new ones listed for many dollars below 20k. In particular if you want a stick, you can get one for a great price!
August 12, 20178 yr Agree, time for all these Diesel lovers to put up or shut up as the 10 available diesel cruze here in washington state are all identically equiped and price out at $29,655 but are selling for just a bit over $23K plus they are advertising them to also have 0% for 72 months financing.

August 15, 20178 yr GM has been particularly terrible with advertising and pricing lately. I bet no one out there in the general public knows the diesel Cruze exists.
August 16, 20178 yr I simply cannot like the new Cruze. I tried and tried. I love the fact a diesel is available, but I just cannot cotton to the product. And the new Equinox Diesel is awesome, 39 MPG... but the vehicle overall is such a snooze. Edited August 16, 20178 yr by ocnblu

I have seen very few of the 2nd gen models, either here on in Arizona earlier this year..
August 16, 20178 yr Something was lost in the second gen Cruze. To me the rear end looks awful. Shoppers chose the new Civic (its best sales year ever) and rejected the new Cruze and Elantra (both down). I suspect the Equinox will do OK because "a rising tide lifts all boats" but it is also overshadowed by the new Honda.. Edited August 16, 20178 yr by frogger
August 20, 20178 yr Author i think GM will sauce up the new Cruze. It might take two more model years, but i see a much more bodacious front end and resorting to pontiac style bling the be recipe.
