Seems that the Tesla Model 3 Long range car is to have a 310 mile range with a 126 MPGe rating according the picture above. This is 131 MPGe city and 120 MPGe highway. This is in comparison to the Chevrolet BOLT with it's 238 mile battery pack, 119 MPGe rating. Course this still does not beat the Hyundai Ioniq which is the leader with a 136 MPGe rating based on the 150 MPGe City and 112 MPGe highway for it's 124 miles battery pack.

Yet this does show the direction we are going as we see more EV's enter the market place. I believe in a year from now, having an EV with a mid 250 mile range battery pack or a long distance pack of 300+ will become very much the norm.
