Washington State starts proposal for Autonomous auto lanes on I-5 Freeway.

The idea is to change all existing HOV lanes to Autonomous vehicle lanes in the next 8-10 years. A local think tank has with help from the High Tech Community researched and is going to lay out to the state how to incorporate autonomous auto lanes on I-5 first and then throughout the state on all Federal and State highways.

The think tank believes this could be incorporated by 2040.
