Detroit Preview: Lexus LF-1 Limitless: Comments

Featured Replies

Lexus released teaser images of a concept crossover that will be shown at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.  The crossover was created by the Toyota's CALTY design studio in Newport Beach, California.   The concept, called the Lexus LF-1 Limitless will preview Lexus' interpretation of a flagship luxury crossover, one they claim will redefine the boundaries of luxury.

We will have more in the Lexus LF-1 Limitless from the show in January.

Interesting love the change of design language from their current hideous design language. Sadly I hate that coupe back end and wish it was more true SUV style. To me such a waste of potential usable space and letting the sun in to the back of the auto with a coupe style rear hatch.

Well, we haven't seen the face yet.  The current design language from the rear is unusually expressive, but I wouldn't call it ugly.

I assume the front will continue the Predator angry gundam look.   I like the rear...

I really hope not, They could do so much better than the Angry Predator look. :P

Problem is anything Toyota makes with a base price of $50k or up is a sales disaster because at the end of the day these are just fancy Toyotas.  People will pay $40k for an Avalon350 errr ES350 or $359 a month for an IS250 lease but the GX, GS, LX, LS, LC are massive duds.
