He is not being paid cash or any other awards especially with the slip in Tesla 3 production. 12 year vesting period Stock grants only based on achieving milestones Must stay as CEO or serve at Chairman of the board and Chief product officer. Currently no changes in existing roles. Full Story here
January 24, 20188 yr • If he's worth $20B, I wonder how much motivation holding his pay (stock) will be. • Why is bumping the company's market value (IE: stock price) the board's focus? If there's never any profitability, there can never be a 10X increase in valuation. • Wonder if the board included any restriction on Musk dumping a major portion of his holdings?

Good questions that I also was wondering about but I have not found a detailed compensation plan for him besides what they released. I thought that for a publicly traded company they had to show the full details of the CEO compensation plan.
