Motor 1 has this story saying Suzuki is coping a page from Jeep with the new 2019 Suzuki Jimny. I have to say they might be right based on the renderings to go against the mule pictures.

If so, then a much better version as a mini wrangler than a Renegade. Either Way, I think it would sell well here if they ever decided to come back to the US market.

Remember 30 years ago the 2nd gen Jimny was sold in the US as the Samurai....had one as a rental once, drove around Martha's Vinyard in one w/ the top off, was fun.

My first GF had a Samurai and then a Sidekick, fun little buggers.

 

 

New Jimny is totally rad, I love it.  Was called Samurai in America back in the day.
