The News is abuzz with stories by various sources that Elon Musk needs to be replaced as CEO of Tesla, leaving him as non-executive Chairman of the company. Bob Lutz is now officially on record that for Tesla to survive, the board should replace Musk with Mulally.

It would seem that with Musk self medicating himself and his recent antics with Social Media, investigation from the SEC and more craziness that fans of Tesla world wide are now bringing this up as a real possibility. At the next stock holders meeting, a proposal from shareholders to be voted on is to force a CEO replacement with professional management that can take Tesla to the next level.

So the question asked here is: "Should Elon Musk be replaced as CEO, possibly by Alan Mulally?"
