I posted this on another thread and was told by Northie to post it here. Most of the graphics on the site don't appear, instead I get the dreaded red 'x.' It happens to most of the pictures and all of the icons, even the smilies. Does anyone else have this problem?
Yup- been having it here, too. Damned annoying...
And since about when did it start happening? I think I may know what it is, I enabled hotlinking to prevent people from linking our stuff to other sites and I think some of the images you guys are having trouble viewing are things that were loaded onto the server when we had to use the pong address.
I'm having the same problem, kept thinking it would eventually go away, but still here as we speak.

I'm on a computer at work and I'm not having any problems now. It all started a few days ago. Both computers are using the latest version of IE, though the operating systems are different. The one at home is Windows 2000 and the one at work is XP. I'll try to do a print screen when I get home.
I'm currently using IE as well as XP and am not having any issues. I still think it may be due to the hotlink enabling so I'll move the images that point to "pong" to the C&G side of things.
For me: pics in people's sigs & posts show up, but every board 'button' is there with a red X for the graphic. "Fast Reply", "edit", "Profile Card", etc... all of those types including the banner have text (banner: no text) but no icons. Even the lil' blue hashes under Harley's "GXP Member" are missing.

Balthazar, mine is doing exactly the same as yours.
Also: the only person's avatar I can see is my own.
Having the same problem, peoples avatars show, but all the C&G symbols are "x"'s. Using IE 6 and XP-SP2. Works fine on my work comp win2k and ie 6.
