Due to be fully revealed on November 28th, the first uncamouflaged pictures of the Hyundai Palisade have leaked out on a Russian website.  Positioned as Hyundai's flagship SUV, the Palisade is an 8-passenger crossover designed to compete with the likes of the Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, and Dodge Durango.  We saw a preview of the Palisade in the Hyundai HDX-2 Grandmaster Concept. Power is expected to come from one of Hyundai's V6es.

The Palisade effectively replaces the Sante Fe XL and will share components with the upcoming Kia Telluride

Looks pretty good, hopefully a Genesis version is significantly differentiated.

It looks good on the outside, I'd be curious to see the inside and how big it is and what the powertrains are.  Could be a strong contender though in the full size segment.

Curious about the platform...I assume it's a unibody FWD/AWD w/ the short front wheel to door distance.   Though wasn't the Veracruz BOF RWD/AWD a decade ago?

Question is going to be how it holds up....

Good for the soccer mom I am sure, but what else can you do with it?

I do like the looks of this and the new Santa Fe, with their blocky style.

I can't get a gauge on the size of this from the pictures.... Is it closer to an Armada or a Durango in size?  If it is Armada sized, this could be an interesting new entry.  I think less so if it is Durango sized just because there are so many entries at that level that are excellent.  Pilot and Traverse will eat it for lunch.

Curious also about the dimensions..hard to tell from the photos..I have a feeling it will be closer to the Explorer and Highlander in size.

I think it looks great.
