Any Buick/GM insiders know the status of the RWD Buick? Is it a convertible, a coupe, sedan? Lutz referred to it briefly as a Statesman, and frankly I'm surprised no reporter who was there asked a follow up question.

The STATESMAN would be a large Sedan like the AUSIES HOLDEN LWB model. I like the name Statesman but I LOVE the name ((ROADMASTER!)) OH WELL!

I like the name ROADMASTER better also they need to bring back more of the old names.

Do we have any idea what the next gen Statesman will look like?

My speculation is that the big Buick will either be similar to the Holden Statesman or just be a luxurious version of the Zeta Impala.

how about interior looks like enclave from the 2nd row up....and exterior more sporty than lucerne

edit, how about a "buick CTS/STS"? since it allready has a "DTS"

Roadmonster woujld have been a great name.

A hardtop coupe & convertible Riviera would be great.

I'm thinking we should be hearing something soon about the Buick zeta. Lutz said this past spring in about 6 months GM would make some Zeta decisions.

Any inside info?

As far as I know the next Lucerne is on Zeta, but won't be out until 2010.
