March 28, 20196 yr They seem to be nailing the timing of new product releases. Interesting to see how they do over the next couple years.
March 28, 20196 yr I think the Kona looks good as does the Sonata. Whoever is doing their styling is hitting the mark. How many of these crossovers can they make though. Venue, Kona, Tucson, Sante Fe, Palliade, and maybe I missed one of there could be more coming.
March 29, 20196 yr Dude the Kona is tiny and on the edge of usefulness because of it... I will be waiting to see how a CUV even smaller will work in the USA... I could see it working in Europe... but America?

Kicks...........................Kona wheelbase 103.1...........102.4 total interior volume 93.9..........94.1 cargo room seat up 25.3................19.2 cargo room seat down 32.3.............45.8 (how this is measured might be different between OEMs) Kicks and Kona are pretty darn close in size

The kona feels bigger, but numbers are numbers.

March 30, 20196 yr Author Cars like the Venue are the new economy car hatchback. But they sit a little higher so people can feel better about buying them.

The new Accent hatchback, available elsewhere, is a good looking little car. The Kona, is it supposed to correspond with the Elantra then? I was thinking Kona = Accent, Tucson = Elantra, Sante Fe = Sonata. The lower trimmed Kona interior is drab as hell. The only Kona interior I like is the Limited/Ultimate in black leather with lime accents. Will be interesting to see how the Venue is trimmed.
April 7, 20196 yr This rendering seems to match up pretty well to the disguised spy photo. I wonder if the Venue will be related to the existing ix25/Creta which is related to the Kia Soul. Edited April 7, 20196 yr by Robert Hall
