Going on a cruise

Featured Replies

I'm leaving tomorrow at 4:30AM for the airport to get on a plane to go to Miami where I will stay for a day and then get on a cruise ship to cruise around the Bahamas and other areas.

Just thought I should let everyone know why I will probably not be here much from tomorrow until June 11.

This just about explains my feelings: :pbjtime::ohyeah:

haha Just kidding, have fun!

Sounds great. Cruises are awesome. Ever eat Bambi and steak in the same sitting? I know I did!

Just watch out for the old folks who look ill... or you'll catch that Norwalk virus or somethin'...

It's a Carnival ship. I plan on playing poker and stealing the drunk folks' money legally.

Have fun, Northstar. Don't fall overboard.

I'm in Florida as we speak. Are you stopping at any ports? Grand Bahama, Freeport, etc.

I've never been on a cruise but I've been on several transatlantic crossings with my parents as a child and then a crossing on the QE2 some 2 years after college. The Carnivals and Princesses are definitely cruises...and a good time I'm sure. The black hulled liners crossing the Atlantic under the British flag are more somber...and a chance to relive a slice of history.

Sailing on the QE2 was one of the most exciting events of my life.

Have fun. I'm envious.

I don't know where all we're stopping but I know we have quite a few stops.
