My take on the horribly awkward PM rendering of the '08 Malibu.

Yours looks a lot better...obviously it's based on the new 'Bu spy pics from yesterday.

The greenhouse and front-end are the only things close.

"Original" looks like a 9-5.

I'm coming to like the '08 Malibu... I prefer its more formal greenhouse to the Aura's.

i like yours better, yet neither has the windshield forward far enough. i do like the semi aggressive stance.

Yours has a nicer cabin roofline than does the bulbuous one presented by PM. This could be a nice car. Will it be 2.2 Ecotec powered? I couldn't imagine otherwise!

It looks much better. I can't believe PM put a front overhang on it longer than the 4th Gen. Camaro's..

the original does look outlandish doesn't it, but with that front, I'm not hating it anymore. it kinda shouts to me saying, "i'm not much like the rest of my segment, other than the sedan part, come, come give me a test drive."...

hm...look at the grille....on the rendering, and then on the spyshots...
