June 6, 200619 yr Just barely caught something on the news about GM having something like this in Wilmington today. Anyone else here this/know details? I kept watching but they didn't return to the story, and I was just waking up at the time.
June 6, 200619 yr maybe if we listen close enough well hear buickman heckling the board. Nah - I was thinking more along the lines of the buckles being clamped and fastened on his straight jacket.
June 6, 200619 yr Hmm, odd that it would be in Wilmington. I guess that's what threw me. Most major US corporations are incorporated in Delaware, including General Motors- it is why corporate litigations take place in Delaware, i.e, the Disney court battle last year. Plus there is a history between GM and duPont ( founded and based in De.) Drove by the Hotel duPont this morning- tv crews and protesters were lining up near the entrance. Didn't see Bob, Ricky or Bm though

Thanks for the post.

No requirement. They used to have the meetings around the country, but have had in DE for a good while now. Ford had their meeting here ( Hotel duPont) a few weeks ago. As for a monopoly(?)- no monoply, just great tax rates!
