I hate that I have to post another announcement like this.

Please come together as a community and send your thoughts and prayers and condolences to our friend @daves87rs who recently lost his wife after a brief illness.  Dave has always been a ray of sunshine and positivity in our community for many years and I hope we can be the same for him.

Thank you. It means a lot. I’m still reeling, as it is still a shock when someone you have known for over 25 years is gone. 

It helps that I have the support of my family and friends,  and the strength of my 13 year old son who continues to inspire me in how he is handling this. In many ways, he is just like his mom.

It’s hard, but Drew is right- I tend to be positive, and try to to let life beat me down, but inspire me. She wouldn’t let me sit here and feel sorry for myself…..

 

 

I'm so sorry for your loss! I'm trying to think of something similar... he wouldn't want me to not smile. He loved to see me smile. I'm sure your wife wants you to smile as well... and it'll come back at times--embrace it. Don't feel guilty like I do. I'm so sorry again.
