2007 Toyota Camry Solara on Toyota's Web Site

2007 Toyota Camry Solara on Toyota's Web Site

Middle-aged women of America rejoice! The Camry coupe has been revamped. In my opinion, it looks somewhat better on the outside. The front and rear restyles clean up the look of the car somewhat. The interior looks as nice as it has pre-refresh with some touch-ups here and there. Judge for yourself.

eh....I always thought Toyota tried too hard to make this look like the SC430...I will say however that this is by far the nicest Toyota interior today, clean, sporty, nice shapes....I waiting to see an all new model given how ugly the new Camry is <_<

I have to agree with Delta. The Solara interior is the only Toyota interior that I like. The exteriors, old and new, aren't appealing.

It's not really an improvement over last year's styling. The front's a little busy, and the reverse lights in the rear bumper make them more vulnerable.

The car still looks bulgy, fat, and heavy in the hips, much like its intended customer.

God that rear looks like crap.

I love how one of the taglines on the website is "Camry Solara 07 Where's the fun in that?"

Good question. I've been wondering that for years now.

Hard to tell from the pics. Even though I like the current one, it looks like it weighs 8000lbs.

I'm...not too impressed. To me, there are more unappealing style and design traits than appealing ones. I've never been too fond of the Solara's bloated appearances.

Looks less like a g6 now

I guess we know what the refreshed G6 is going to look like now.

Another huge :scratchchin: as to why Toyota can put an interior in the Solara that looks like THAT.....and we get that infamous G6 center stack...?

I think the car looks great, a would hope the NG G6 will be close to this except how do yo only have 210 hp as an option. If any gm brand put a nice looking car out with that liitle hp it would be crazy!!! Should have atleast 255 or more. Unless I missed something

I for one prefer the G6 interior to this. I really don't like the acres of cheap plastic aluminum Toyota has chosen to put in every new interior.

The exterior looks worse than the last one...which is a pretty bold accomplishment.

Rumors have it this may be the last Solara.

I heard that the new Perterbilt interior/instruement cluster was designed by Lexus. Is Toyota doing contract work now? Perhaps someone misunderstood Lexus-like for Lexus designed.

I don't like the exterior design of the things but that interior looks really nice.

Aluminum or wood trim.....depending on the model. I in fact like both.

Eh, never have been too excited over the Solara...this is no exception.

That'd be odd, since it's just the two door version of the Camry with 'special' body work.

I've heard that Solaras unexpectedly "roll-over" just to put themselves out of their boring, drab existeince, trying to punish those that drive them.

(sorry Satty, had to. I'm going to go hump a Mini now.)

I read that this is the last Solara because they need the produiction capacity for yet another Camry derived crossover!

Now all they have to do is tack on a better looking exterior, less tacky front end and some exterior trim to make it look less bland and maybe they will get somewhere.

Great... just great. Don't people enjoy the drive, anymore? Isn't there something to be said for a car that can hug a corner? Jeez... we're all getting so fat, before too long, we'll all be in heavy duty trucks!

OMG! can you see me through the monitor? One more donut and my pot belly will have it's own pot belly.

Okay... I actually laughed outloud at that! :P

Just looking at it makes me want to chug a bottle of geritol and walk around with a walker.
