We've all seen (or owned) an old, seemingly worn out car that still runs despite looking like it was parked mistakenly inside a Demo Derby ring. What do you call these old girls?

Here's a few to get you started:

jalopy

crate

p.o.s.

hoopty

wreck

any other poetic names for these hangers-on?
Um... I call it "my dad's 77 Chevy". :D
Roach. That one is forever impressed upon my mind from the days of the Roach Caprice. Anybody else been on here long enough to remember that? Oh, the horrors that car was subjected to...
From now on, anytime I see someone beat up a car, I will refer to be it as being roached.
A "whip" Or simply.. a "piece"
