Reading various posts around the board today, I realized that there are a lot of posters on the board that remind me of the Uncle Rico character. He was always dreaming of 1982 and wishing he could go back. I think some people here live in 1965 or 1985 or whatever year they want GM to be in again.

I must be schizophrenic, I want it to be 1955,1963,1970,1987 and 2007,8,and 9 all at once!

I want it to be 2008. One, I'll have a modified Cobalt SS SC and, two, I'll have about a year to go before I get my Camaro SS!

I'm quite happy that it's 2006, and am enjoying the now.

So I was video taping myself doing slap shots in the

backyard today and I realised it would be super cool

if I put the Super 88 on 13s and dropped it like a bad

habit. Then I could do it up in sparkle flake metallic

candy apple penta-coat magenta chameleon 3M, and

paint a mural of John Wayne on the hood.

All joking aside the years I wish I could have lived

through would be 1946 - 1972. That way I could drive

awesome new cars like 1959 Buick Invicta Flat tops &

it wopuld have been a comendable purchase in terms

of practical, safe family transportation. at the same

time have I could have had a few classics like a 1932

Cadillac V16 dual cowl phaeton. I could have special

ordered a 1969 COPO Camaro in Glacier blue with a

white interior and been a GOD at the local dragstrip

with my inline-six powered base coupe lookalike with

dog dish hubcaps.

Now excuse me while I get dressed like this:

and go for a nice slow ride in the Super 88 while

listening to Jass on the "bass" settign of the AM.
