In 2017 A.L.I. Technologies had a dream and started in what is known as a skunk works mode. Not much was known about what they were working on.

June 28th 2022 A.L.I. Technologies released the following video about their new Air Bike. A glimpse of what they had been working on.

Just days later they released an actual video of a prototype bike.

We fast forward to August 16th, 2022, with this video and the announcement that it will be at the Detroit auto show with actual working bikes, demos of it in flight.

We also know have the following information on this bike from their updated press release: A.L.I. Technologies to Exhibit and Conduct Flight Performance of XTURISMO Limited Edition in Detroit, United States | A.L.I. Technologies (ali.jp)

A $20,000 dollar deposit can be put down for the $777,000 luxury hover bike.

The press release had the following to say: A.L.I. has been developing air-mobility technology since 2017, with the aim to provide a brand-new way of experiencing the world. Drawing inspiration from the Star Wars saga, the XTURISMO Limited Edition features a sleek and stylish exterior, a worthy icon for the next generation of transport. News seems to be picking up on the flying Bike.

world's first flying bike makes U.S. debut - https://www.msn.com/en-us/video/peopleandplaces/it-s-awesome-world-s-first-flying-bike-makes-u-s-debut/vi-AA11STxc?ocid=entnewsntp

Flying things just seem so damn impractical until there's a full self driving where vehicle are communicating with each other. The idea of something airborne without real brakes just doesn't make any practical sense unless they're off-road-only toys, in which it looks fun as hell.
