I couldn't take a photo.  I could see its grille from my driver's side outside mirror and it was moving briskly forward in the fast lane on a rainy freeway.

It was circa a 1987 Mercury Cougar.  Those were weird looking cars.

But, then, it all turns into a $h!tshow! 

Maybe some kudos are in order for the bold move.

You could get a V8, but entry-level power came from FoMoCo's version of the 3.8 liter V6.

(The corresponding Ford T-bird of those same years was even more dowdy.)

The car I saw was in excellent condition.
