What You Guys Missed Out On...

As I said... the Laurel Festival car show was today. I went to it. Not alone, but with a cousin... *sigh*

Anyways, I kept it mostly GM. If my camera could fit more pics and if I really felt like posting an insane amount of pics on C&G... I would have. So... only the ones that caught my attention were etched into my Camera's memory stick. Some, I gathered with others for pictures. Here they are...

He he he ... it IS a small world ;).

At first I thought: "Do I love this one or hate it?"

But even though it's a half assed, redneck

vicky/hearse/paddy waggon wannabe... you

gotta love a rat rod this cool. no paint, no glass,

but it has a mopar 383 w/ ram induction,

pro-steet stance with a cow catcher grille and a

scary 'stored in a swamp' patina like Balthazar's

pre-war Ford COE.

You ever see that guy again you tell him I'll

trade him a '97 Q45 & a '84 Datsun for that

rat rod!

Both that two-tone Hudson & '36 Pontiac (?) are

absolutely mouth watering. Those are two cars

that wear 4" whitewalls perfectly.

Besides the 1963 Split Window coupe my absolute

favorite Corvette of all time is a 1968-69 coupe.

I know that the 1968 (which this is) had a lot of

quality control probelms & the fiberglass cracked

in certain places but they're still awsome!

Hey BV,

I saw that '80 MC this weekend at the MC Nationals! They had some issues tho .... with an alternator going out en route ... and then heater core hoses at the show....

Cort: How's about the '77 Cutlass... are we still on for our roadtrip?

I was just looking over my schedule and the possibility is there

that I could go out there this weekend to drop off the Cutty at

your house, if you still want it. :D

I'll talk to XP tomorrow & try to figure out the possible scheduling.

Hmmm...yes, still want it.

This weekend, however, may not be the best. Some of my IL friends are working a car show in east-central IL ... and have invited me down there for the weekend. OR...I may be *ahem* elsewhere.

But ... see what XP says and we'll see, OK?
