OK, it's movies, it's a poll, it's Reg's, so I'll chime in. Isn't it past your bedtime in Central Zone? WTF.

I don't like your list. I haven't seen most of them. The "Police Academy" series wasn't even THAT great. So, why did I pick it? My friend from Seattle's mom said "Oh, your friend Bob looks like Steve Guttenberg"...and he's in these movies. Hey, I resemble a celebrity...and she picked a Jewish one at that! Sixteen years of Catholic school down the drain.

God, Reg, couldn't you throw in some 007, some Eddie Murphy stuff, some "Body Heat"/"Body Double"/"Postman Always Rings Twice" type stuff? I'll let it slide.

Airplane!

And the best part of Dirty Dancing was two words: Jerry Orbach.

exactly!

hey this was just a random list. all the other ones I've seen listed are pretty good doosies too.

Personally, I think Coyote Ugly was a tremendous film. Piper Perabo, cheesy Diane Warren penned tunes, Leann Rimes, Maria Bello, and even a North Dakota reference! Simply a TREMENDOUS FILM! Girls dancing on a bar, how can you NOT make a movie about that?

It's such an inspiring film!

Love Office Space, BTW...it's the best!

a buddy of mine swears by Roadhouse as the best movie of all time.

You forgot American Beauty, too.

yes, but that was actually a good movie. very dark, but good.

OH! I FORGOT Secretary with the best actor EVER! JAMES SPADER and the gorgeous MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL.

James Spader is such an awesome actor. CRASH (with Holly Hunter), SEX LIES AND VIDEOTAPE, PRETTY IN PINK.....all OSCAR material!

oh, let's add the Scooby Doo movies while we're on topic!

Best Movie of all time: Joe Dirt

I watched "Lord of War" the other day: GREAT STUFF! A+

Of that list, I'd say Armageddon with Roadhouse and Bloodsport right behind it.

All-time? There are tons of good movies: Armageddon, American Wedding, American Pie 1 and 2, Joe Dirt, The Benchwarmers, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Hitch, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Napoleon Dynamite, The Waterboy, Billy Madison. The list goes on and on.

I complain of a sheer lack of Mel Brooks films. Where's...

Spaceballs?

Robin Hood: Men in Tights?

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN!?

Blazin' Saddles?

What an utterly incomplete list. I simply cannot vote.

i suppose any Adam Sandler movie automatically qualifies.

100!? That's not enough!

What about such obscure 80's films as "The Gods Must Be Crazy", "Men at Work", and "Heavy Metal"?

:P

A poll like this would have to be narrowed down to 100 options by a panel of judges. Preferably not the same people that decide who wins Oscars.

I put Brady Bunch lol. It is the only one I have seen out of those anyways.

Son, you must step out of this:

I haven't even heard of most of those movies, let alone watched them... so... your list sucks.

"It's like Speed 2! Except on a bus instead of a boat!"

holding my judgement till i see "Snakes on a Plane" it's just going to be horribly hilarious.

what about monty pythons "quest for the holy grail" COME ON!!!!

or "american beauty", or "big fish"

Of those, I've seen:

Coyote Ugly

Cocktail

Speed 2

Armageddon (CHEESY, probably one of the cheesiest movies I've ever seen, how can you say it is good???)

Part of one of the Police Academy movies.

I think I'm too young for this list.

Comedy: Airpline, Stripes, MP and the Holy Grail, Johnny Dangerously, Caddyshack, Top Secret

Horror: The original B&W Night of the Living Dead

Drama: Not sure -- I'll let you know when I see one (whaddya expect, I'm a guy)
