June 21, 200619 yr http://www.worldcarfans.com/spyphotos.cfm/...lift-spy-photos It looks like they pulled some parts from the SAE 100 prototype and stuck it on a regular STS.
June 21, 200619 yr I don't like the turn signal indicator/reflector on the front bumper. It looks cheap.
June 21, 200619 yr The STS shown here is powered by a 3.6-litre High Feature V6, and now sports an Escalade-style grille and euro-style tail lights. Of course it sports euro-style tail lights, it's a euro-spec car (note the amber rear side-markers and the rear fog lights between the exhausts)!
June 21, 200619 yr The STS looks really tired already. Too bad the replacement is so far off. very tired.
June 22, 200619 yr god that grille looks terrible! looks like someone ripped it off the DTS, oh wait...
June 22, 200619 yr Altezas. http://www.americancarfans.com/spyphotos/6....003.mini6L.jpg What the hell is that in the middle of the rear valance / bumper cover? Looks like this is some weird hybrid prototype... or something else odd.

June 22, 200619 yr There was just something incredibly odd about this test car, and I finally figured out what it was... The color. 'Silver Green' was only available for 2005. It was dropped (IIRC) due to low demand. I wonder if this is just a left over 2005 model with exterior updates... that might explain why the interior doesn't have any updates.
June 23, 200619 yr Did anyone notice the wires hanging out on the front bumper? Would those be for block heater for the diesel possibly, testing for Europe?
July 2, 200619 yr Since they're using that front bumper and rear bumper, being that they're not color-matched.. anybody think the bumpers could've undergone a minor refreshening, too? I love the taillights and grille.. I'm not a fan of the LEDs between the tailpipes, though.
July 2, 200619 yr I'm not a fan of the LEDs between the tailpipes, though. That's the only place where they can insert the euro-reg rear fog lights without ruining the car's looks. I'd prefer a single rear fog light, located at the centre, like the Mini has.
