Chrysler: "Satisfaction guaranteed or money back!"

DaimlerChrysler AG's Chrysler Group is finalizing a plan to bring back employee discounts for the masses and is adding a new twist -- customers who are unhappy with their vehicles can return them within 30 days, according to dealers and company officials.

Uh, didn't Saturn do this first? And while Saturn's policy 30-day/3,000 miles was in keeping with their image, Chrysler doing it is pure desperation.

It's funny isn't it... What was that about "Smoke & Mirrors" again?

I was always of the opinion that those Saturn buyers who kept their cars paid for those who were out for a free 30 day rental.

Most Saturn buyers who brought cars back wanted another color, anyway. The catch with DCX is there is a mileage penalty to pay.

And seeing all the Durangos sitting at a local Mopar store, they got to move them. But how about not making so many!??

So... what is stopping a Mopar hater from just buying one and taking it back just to lose them money?

... and what ever stopped people from doing this to Saturn as well?

The local dealership is offering the employee pricing plus 0%/72 months....must be pretty slow there.

...if you can find a better car, we'll give you your money back so you can go by it.
