June 24, 200619 yr The one day of the year I am allowed to take my camera to work... for an employee car show, and it rains like a S.O.B. It was the 20th annual, I looked at the radar in the morning, and my car said no way! It's new paint stayed in the garage...Sorry I didn't get a lot of pics, It rained hard! Usually there are up to 800 cars, this time only a couple hundy. Lots of fast cars. The Cutlass was for sale for $6200 ran low 11s on spray hows this for contrast? BB Chevelle ran 10s on motor I love survivors. They just get better... Chrysler highboy w/Chevy power It was huge This car sounded even better than it looks I love this thing I'm not sure why This Aerovette used to have a giant Wankel, now it runs a transverse small block The guy standing next to the LeSabre is 5'10"!!! Nice. Some guys I work with have really fast cars. Love the SS It was raining bad so I bummed out and put my camera away before it got too moistened. I will make it up for it with Wooward pictures soon. Edited June 24, 200619 yr by mightymouse
June 24, 200619 yr Great photos! Between the 2003 SS conceopt & the SIXTEEN I hope that one of those 4dr hardtops makes it to production with B-pillar delete. Edited June 24, 200619 yr by Sixty8panther
June 24, 200619 yr Nice pics, MM. Especially appreciated: very good interior shot of the LeSabre- dig the 'halo' intrument cluster that encircles the steering column. That gas pedal must've came straight from GMC Coach. Were you making the men in black twitchy leaning out over the automotive Mona Lisa like that? I HAVE to see this car in person someday. Tho it's interior is spartan and dated- the exterior lines of the Aerovette are still completely awesome. I've also been impressed with the SS since it debuted. It seems really long in pics; what would it compare to in size?
June 24, 200619 yr It was about as long as the Nomad. Its low and long though. kind of like a C5 vette with less hood and a backseat (its hard to explain with out seeing it).I love the Gear Selector on it so much!

It seems really long in pics; what would it compare to in size? No...The magic Buick was not really being watched! I like the low shot that showshow low it goes. An Impala is similar length to the SS, I think the nomad is a lot shorter.. They were lined up nose to nose, and in they stinger pic, you can see how much longer it is. Heres a couple more shots Edited June 24, 200619 yr by mightymouse
