I Know RWD is better in so many ways than FWD. But i do disagree with this statement for teh Average Soul less driver. A Pontiac Vibe is alot easier to drive through a foot of snow than a 4th gen Camaro. or a 83 scottesdale with a 572 in it even with 10 50 pound bags of dirt in the back. My 02 silverado F'ing sucked in snow in 2wd just did donuts and spun tires until you put it in 4wd.

Ahhh, I'm glad I live in the south, no snow, so no worries about snow...gimme a RWD again (or let my dad get done with that DAMNED International so I can get my truck into our shop) and I'll be happy.

4WD is superior to RWD yes.... that's very true, but 4WD is

also just as superior to FWD.

There is ONE and only ONE thing that is better about FWD

in the snow versus RWD: getting going from a stop in low

traction, and in this case it just lulls you into a false sense

of security. What people would benefit from more than a

POS FWD car is "doing the right thing", buying a decent

RWD car and putting on snow tires when the time comes,

& opting for traction control if they're shy about snow.

There's no excuse for FWD.

If you're too much of a sissy to drive RWD get an AWD

car or 4x4 truck.

The S-Series blazers with the 2 door option continued all the way up until the end of the S-Series production. The boxy style of Blazer ended with the 93 model and with the introduction of the Second Gen.

Yes it is, I've seen proof of it. AWD is naturally the best, but unless you've got the engine in your trunk then RWD is almost uselessin the snow...especially high-powered RWD cars.

You should do RWD plus manual transmission. That's a real drivers automobile. And I fit the build for that - 2004 Dodge Dakota w/ 5 speed manual.

It's pretty bad when your options are RWD, manual transmission, decent engine, and low cost and all you are left with is trucks.
