can Fly or someone (that keeps up more quickly) start a simple, nicely laid out, thread that lists the debuts we know about and clearly mark ones that are believed to be happening? (like the one for naias) cobalt? laX super? h4? G8? another one could be for other manufacturers.... it is only 3 weeks away thanks ahead

Tonawanda Gets $300 Million To Build GM's Newest Engine
http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=11361 fly's quoted response QUOTE GM to Introduce New Light-Duty Diesel for North America High-efficiency V-8 scheduled for pickup trucks under 8,600 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight MILFORD, Mich. - General Motors Corp. will introduce a new V-8 turbo-diesel that improves engine fuel efficiency by 25 percent for North American light duty trucks after 2009. The premium V-8 diesel is expected to deliver class-leading torque, power and refinement while maintaining a significant fuel efficiency advantage over comparable output gasoline engines. The new dual-overhead cam, four-valve V-8 diesel engine will fit within the same space as a small-block V-8 gasoline engine. This compact size is made possible by using an integrated air system and narrow block. "This new GM light duty diesel is expected to become a favorite among customers who require excellent towing ability and fuel efficiency," said Tom Stephens, group vice president, GM Powertrain. "It will meet the stringent 2010 emissions standards, and it will be compliant in all 50 states, making it one of the cleanest diesel vehicles ever produced." ... Technical highlights of the engine include aluminum cylinder heads with integrated manifolding, compacted graphite iron (CGI) block for a strong engine base and fracture-split main bearing caps and connecting rods for a precise fit. A high-pressure, common-rail fuel system is used, which has the ability to inject fuel five times per combustion event to control noise and emissions. --------------------

Need some help, please!
this would be overboard but try to have a surround system for each front seat and the side rear seats... i've never been in an SQ car, but trying to make a great buget car, say less than 1 grand.... in my 99 monte i have 5 1/4 polk db's in the front and 6 1/2s in the rear, all stock locations + 2 adapter plates and a deh-p7600mp (using 50hz highpass it has) it's missing some bass but i think it sounds quite good other than a rattle in the drivers side rear shelf at certain times. really like listening to music before all the dynamic range was killed aka about 2001, i ccan crank it up to some pink floyd, days of the new and blue man group. just ideas you could always try to make something like a speaker or sub.....and then test it in the real world....?
