  1. The '67 (may be hitting the street as my daily driver since I wrecked my S15) My '93 that was totaled.
  2. But you're comparing the high revving HP of a DOHC V6 to a torquey V8. How bout 273ft-lbs @ 5k vs 325ft-lbs at 2.4k. The LT-1 excelled at being unruly, capable of completely destroying a set of tires through an intersection and having the inexperienced facing the wrong way after making a quick U-turn. With 15 year in suspension, tire, transmission, and engine design the 3.6 Camaro is a teddy bear in comparison even though it may be able to closely match an early factory LT-1 in speed. Edit: I hope the 3.6 being in the Camaro brings out more Supercharger and Turbocharger kit makers. Kinda sad to see this engine family widely ignored by GM performance fans while the Ecotec and LSx get all the good stuff.
  3. Am I the only one that thinks it looks too much like the current Nissan Sentra....at least in overall egg shape.
  4. I hope you do realize that the improvements of the LS3 over the LS2 make it a better performer, and adding a few more hp is just weener waggling.
  5. Where are the engines...in the Olds Museum the display the egniees with the cars... http://www.flickr.com/photos/joeross/22533...57603878526144/
  6. Why does this look as if it be right at home in the 1990s....
  7. Likely more than really good projector and screen...
  8. Was a W-Body thing too...but the cars were too heavy and the spring wore out too quickly.
  9. The ZO6 was already one of the best handling cars on the planet...why change a good thing?
  10. Hybrid...G-Series...it all sould be forgoten...No names, jsut something simple.
  11. Nice story and congrats on the car. I would love me a solid black Trofeo...IMO the chrome ruins the futuristic look.
  12. Saul Williams (feat. Trent Reznor) - WTF!
  13. For As much as these things sell for, you think they could have found a way to hide the top.
  14. Automatic??? What genious decided to choose that option?
  15. Yes, but they sure do need AWD. 911 Turbo: ~3500lbs, AWD, 0-60 in 3.4s, and still a decent street car. 911 GT3 RS: ~3000lbs, RWD, 0-60 in 4.0s, may handle better, but not great for the streets (I'm willing to bet the ZR1 out performs it too) I see no problem in adding a AWD Vette to the line up. It will be a killer street car (imagine actually being able to launch a Vette without the rear coming around on you). The should also keep around the ZR1 for the track hungry folks.
