  1. It was kinda confusing to have the Charger and the Challenger names at the same time.
  2. Perhaps younger buyers are also more willing to accept Hyundai as an established brand. Also the bold design also skews towards the youth market.
  3. Haha wow people on this site hate Lexus. I am not saying I have any plans to buy one but I don't think it's terrible. I mostly agree that it is boring despite the grill. That is their thing though and it has worked for them. Lexus is hardly hurting for business.
  4. Really another one? Who are these rich people and why do they have such bad taste?
  5. I don't appreciate smugness in commercials. Probably why I don't buy Apple products either. The corporate identity rubs me the wrong way. I don't think it's classy. In a consumer driven world where the things we buy and choices we make do to some extent define us I could not endorse Cadillac's advertising. I prefer how they are promoting Buick with their unexpected pleasures commercial. Undersell and over deliver for a few more years. The word does get around. Ask Hyundai.
  6. I think BMW has enlarged the mini line as far as it can go and still be recognizable as a mini. I have to wonder if sales for the countryman and clubman are less than expected. Is Saab a good fit for BMW remains to be seen. But let's look at it from the other side. As one person said already this is the best possible scenario for Saab. The other bidders consist of companies in newly developed nations China/India/Turkey that want a way into western markets. Building a brand takes a long time and Saab although slightly tarnished still has good brand recognition. There is some precedent that this combination can work, geely/volvo, proton/lotus, tata/jag/land rover etc.. Still I believe BMW has the best chance to get Saab up and running in the shortest amount of time. BMW has experience reviving a dead brand like mini. I also agree that they hope to compete with VW in the mid-range mainstream market.
