  1. It would have been nice if they came with different engine/transmission combos. Like if the GMC came with six speed only. And the base engine would only be available on the Chevrolet.
  2. I heard he was trying to put Smashing Pumpkins back together.
  3. God damn, it's too frustrating. I hate parrelell parking. I stick to the suburbs where there are abundant surface lots.
  4. Are you talking about the Smashing Pumpkins guy?
  5. Not a whole lot different from the Chevrolet, but a very attractive vehicle nonetheless.
  6. If you put your money into something, that money is tied up. GM's Subaru stake was a useless investment. Roger Smith thought that he could get robots to make cars for GM in the 1980's. Along those same lines, Rick Wagoner went buck wild in the 1990's and bought up a whole bunch of stakes in automakers like Fiat, Subaru, Isuzu, etc. thinking that GM could have other companies build cars for it, so that it's CEO's could play golf all day. Needless to say, it did not work. Subaru's technology was incompatible with GM's. Something having to do with wierd engine arrangements. After several years of nothing, they collaborated on one project, the Saab 9-2X, which was a mega flop. Basically GM needs to free up some cash and use that money to invest in GM's own divisions. That will be the only way GM can redeem itself.
  7. Good riddance, they got nothing out of that partnership. Saab 9-2X was the first "collaboration" (after several years) and it proved to be a huge flop. GM's CEOs need to realize that internal investment in GM's own divisions is the way to go. These guys think they can buy stakes in other companies like Subaru and Fiat, and effectively pay someone else to make cars for them. Doesn't work.
  8. I'm back in saddle again. I was a bit lazy to sign up for an account after the change, also a bit too busy. But now I'm back. And I'm more pessimistic, opinionated, and vulgar than ever before. Cheers, Shantanu :CG_all:
