2009 Dodge Journey!!
Over all, it's not bad really. I give Dodge credit, it finally gives them a vehicle that can really go head to head with the Rav-4 and CRV and really, even the Escape and Equinox. The Nitro is more of an Explorer player in my idea. It's by far Chrysler Group's best interior since um....2000?

2008 Chevy Online Ordering Guide
So, the Cobalt has a lot of new features standard that really make me hate my 2005. Side curtain airbags, ebony dashes, and XM Radio all standard. It may make sense to hold off on a car til the 2008 Cobalt becomes available....but will it have any cosmetic changes?

FIRST LOOK: 2008 Saturn VUE Red Line and Green Line
Really bad photoshops. Especially the Hybrid. This new VUE is actually a step in a bad direction for Saturn, IMHO.

2008 Saturn Astra
I like it. A lot. But it really needs an Americanized interior I think. It's a stopgap, but will all those buttons even work? I mean, would an ION replacement have the Phone Keypad but almost nothing else in GM's lineup doesn't?

GM Certified Used Cars get 5y/100k Powertrain Warranty
Now that you mention that.....yeah. And I'm sorry to say that sucks. The Cobalt I bought last week has the balance of the Factory, because it only has 23,000 miles. PLUS now the extended certified warranty...

Compass Advertising Still as Bad as Ever
DCX just keeps shooting itself in the foot. In fact, it's almost out of bullets. This is REALLY sad.

SPY SHOTS: SATURN VUE REDLINE
LeftLaneNews has posted these somewhat blurry but useful spyshots of the 2009(?) VUE Redline Looks like altezza headlights are heading to the VUE's rear. http://www.leftlanenews.com/2007/01/05/spi...line/#more-4621

Holden Statesmen sedan
I really disagree Croc, there's minor, minor similarities to the Phaeton. The headlights are differently shaped completely and the Phaeton's C-Pillar is horrible. Like someone said, think more of the new Holden Barina. And besides, with so many designs out there from so many manufacturers, they can only be 100% original for so long. Not that I want it to come here looking as exact as that illustration. And the Phaeton is hardly a car to copy. Poor sales and a lack-luster design...yeah, let's copy that design.

GM paid $2 million to have a Solstice blown up
......fleet Solstice? Who rent's a Solstice? And I agree with zbad1, this is a smart move actually. Think of it like BMW or Aston putting their vehicles in a Bond movie. And so what if it gets blown up? People are going to remember an explosion more than if we just saw a Solstice parked on the street in a movie, like an "extra," or a background prop. Mazda used the RX-8 in X-Men 2, and I'm sure they paid for that, not the studio. Chrysler HEAVILY promoted the 300C and the fact that appeared latest Harrison Ford movie Firewall. I saw more commericals for the car being in the movie than I did for Harrison Ford being it. So let's not jump the gun on GM because they did this. Now, if they decide to blow up a fleet of Solstices........then we'll talk. :AH-HA_wink:
