  1. Hmmm, well, pictures would end mental speculation. Otherwise, we're left to our imaginations, which could lead to all sorts of things! I'm just sayin'.....
  2. On purpose, or was this a surprise when you woke up one morning after a long night of....?
  3. Yep, that's the appeal for me. They aren't very exciting, but I have a real practical streak in me and the minivan seems to fit the bill. I've owned two vehicles at the same time before but I don't want to go through that again so my one vehicle needs to do a lot of things. Plus, I've never owned a minivan so it will be a new experience if I get one.
  4. Well, the lease on my Malibu ends in a couple of months so I'm trying to decide what comes next. It takes me a long time to decide on a vehicle so I've been thinking about this for several months already. As is probably true with most people, I have conflicting wants and needs. This time around I may end up with a minivan. I've already started getting grief over the idea from people I know. I'm a single guy with no kids but I'm leaning towards one because they're big, they're quiet, they ride nicely, they get sort of decent gas mileage, I can carry stuff when necessary and I can sleep in it when I go camping without needing to worry about the weather. Maybe I'll go for the Dodge 'Man Van' to up the excitement quotient.
  5. I'm not sure how rigid the definition of haiku is myself, but that's the first thing I thought of. I liked the image it made in my head.
  6. Haiku?

Amen to that! 2010 had a few bright spots and looked promising at first but crashed and burned in the end. Here's hoping 2011 is a much better year for all.
  8. I always feel bad for the horse, having to cart people around out in the cold.
  9. I think I just gained 10 pounds from those pictures. YUM!
  10. My incredible powers of deduction tell me that either there are cannibals roaming your neighborhood or you've been reading the personal ads on Craigslist again!
  11. It's your house so if you like it, then do it. The next question would be, what does it do for (or to) potential resale? In that regard, I'm not sure. If buyers like or don't mind an eclectic look, then it shouldn't be a problem. However, if buyers like a consistent look throughout the house, then that would be a negative. In earlier times, it wasn't unusual to find a more expensive wood in the public spaces where guests could see it. On the scond floor, in the private spaces you'd find a less expensive wood. I don't know that I've seen a mixture on the same floor.
  12. Wow, you mean Priceline is going to allow you to bid on hookers?
  13. LOL

I've watched the show since it started. It is not always funny, but when it is, it's hilarious. My only complaint is that they made the two gay characters so stereotypical. That irritates me, but they also made them so likeable, it's hard to be too upset.
  14. I would always be concerned about the cost of future repairs. Maybe I have a distorted perception of the cost of maintenance for these types of cars, but I couldn't do it.

That is pretty funny. I watched it twice, but I still don't understand what it is that he's so upset about?
