As much as I don't like the Ridgeline, not for the brand, but for the styling and and FWD bias, I must say I am surprised at this test. 9.27 mpg is horrible for a V6 and I figured Honda would have done a little more homework before dropping their 3.5L in the bay. I knew having the 3.5L in the truck wasn't the greatest idea, but then again, with the numbers Honda claimed in terms of towing and hauling, I was skeptical the day my Dad fell in love with it and gave the future Avalanche a run for its money.

You've had this car for like 2 days and you're thinking of getting rid of it already?! Maybe be creative and save money in other ways. I have a diesel V8 so gas mileage ain't too great, so I bike a lot... to work, sometimes friends', etc... The truck is there when I need a vehicle. But I've used a barrel or two less on oil and made zero emissions. Plus, I've saved a bundle on fuel and bought a new bike with some saving from work! But I guess if you have long distances to travel everyday, biking is not practical unless you're a Tour de France competitor like Neil Armstrong.

To be honest, unless the styling is SO awkward (think Kia Amanti) or directly and greatly interferes with the driving experience (Blind spots, etc), it should not be commented on. The way a car looks is subjective. People make Bangle Butt comments, but I've met people that actually like it. People hate the Chrysler 300, others love it. In an informal place like this, I figure we can say what we want about styling, but in a automotive review, well, they should leave the styling to the reader.
