The Heritage Ads look fantastic. The other ones could use less lens flair.

If someone would PM or e-mail higher res files of the billboard series, I would be eternally grateful. ndhapple(at)gmail(dot)com

Someone, please take pictures of these billboards. Signed, The Committee for Truth; and The Search Committee looking for GMpr to grow some balls.

The new climate controls are a welcomed improvement, but the replacement of the radio is not. The black tie radio doesn't belong in every car built by GM worldwide. SAAB, Cadillac, should have a different radio set up. If SAAB can share with Opel, that's fine. But end this mindless beancounting.
  5. I agree about the wood.
  6. If the 3500VVT is priced competitively with the Camry and Accord I4's when comparably equiped, you will have major sucess. The Epsilons are a bit heavy, something which I never really understood since the Saab 9-3 weighs in at less than 3200lbs. But dumping that panoramic sunroof would probably save 75lbs if not more. So if you want a lighter car, just start deleting the options, and it should get back down to about 3500lbs.

I concur with the promising. More than likely, its just a bad photo.

Thanks for the letter. The story made no sense to me or many others considering the stage the project was at. It is important. not just to be first, but to be right. I appreciate any effort taken to make sure such a blunder doesn't happen again.
  9. G5

sigma replied to pipius's post in a topic in Heritage Marques
If the G5 looks like the Saturn Astra with the pontiac grill (otherwise known as the shop), it will be a smash hit. Just make sure all of the engines have DI and sticks. That will serve as a way to differentiate the G5 from the Cobalt. Now if the G5 is a Smith era rebadge job of the Cobalt, it will be a disaster.

What exactly is the G5 supposed to be? A compact sedan? RWD or FWD? anyone?

He also says that the dash would stay the same, but that the rear interior was impracticle in production.
  12. Hello Congressman, Don't you have a trial to attend in Texas Signed, All in favor of ethics in congress.
  13. Okay. He has really lost it now. Besides not understanding how Hybrids work and where the components are, (Tranny HELLO), he continues to assert that there is some master plan in which GM and the union are in bed trying to bankrupt the company. This makes NO sense. GM can bankrupt itself perfectly well, without anyones help, and without a massive conspiracy. Come on, when you had Roger and Jack Smith run the company, destroying brand deliniations, and turning GM into a mecca of badge jobbing without really re-engineering anything. It took a long time to get GM into this mess. It is going to take time to get it out of this mess. Patiences is a virture. PS: The Hybrid is real.

They could start by showcasing some GM cars targeted at that demographic like the HHR, Cobalt, and Solstice. Throw in some good old fashion GM "ahhhh" cars like the Corvette and CTS-V. These kids need to see these cars and read about them. Show them that GM can be cool.

So just to clarify... The NGMalibu (386) is still rolling out on a re-engineered EpI platform sometime mid 2007?

It would be about time that the GP got RWD.

Someone has been watching too much of the Christmas Story. As long as no one wants a red Ryder BB gun for Christmas, I think we will all be okay. Although that leg lamp may have been an inspiration for some of GM's tackier projects.

I have a couple of questions... 1) Does this mean the GMNA will wait until MY09-10 to launch these products onto EpII? Will GMNA use EpII or DeltaII for that matter? 2) What does cancelled mean? I remember reports that Zeta was cancelled, then it was suspended, then it was thrown into developement overdrive. Just looking for some clarification 3) Does this mean that the 07 Malibu/G6 will get a some re-engineering and interior improvements/overhaul? Or will GM allow them to stay unchanged until they are replaced?
