Whats Your Nationality?
Ditto here. NOBODY in my family, including myself, looks remotely like Al Pacino or anyone that the media portrays as being stereotypically Italian. In fact, about 20% of my relatives are various shades of (natural) blonde. Italy was stomped on and through by Southern folk (Greeks and Arabs) and Northern folk (Normans and Bourbons). The Iberian peninsula is probably a little more homogeneous as the Portuguese, for example, look a little more uniform, in my opinion. Sicilians, for example, can be very dark and sometimes very light as a result of these conquests. One of my cousins told me that I analyze Europe from an "anthropoligical point of view."

Our house has gone up 23% in the last 10 months
I heard. My Mom lives in the Mt. Scott/Happy Valley area. I understand they have gone way up. Three years ago, they were sitting there and the prices were low. You do know that Portland and Seattle always react to the national price increases late, thus awakening from the slumber? The reason they were low is because, if I recall correctly, the job market there 3 to 5 years ago was horrendous, with unemployment hitting 8%. Now, there are jobs available, so this pushes up housing prices. Still, I have made it a point never to return to the Northwest as I don't like the climate and most of the people I have met in the workplace - they are way too uptight for my taste. However, this makes me wish I had hung onto my townhome on the eastside of Seattle a little longer.

WT - what car?
I put down Neon. A month ago, someone called the Monte Carlo the "white trash car of America." Ouch. I kind of like them. What does Tonya Harding drive, anyway?

You know what kills me....
I like the new one more. Honestly, the lights at the rear were a bit large. The current ones are cleaner, as is the front end. The only objection I have with the new one is how clunky the C-pillar looks from some angles. You're right. It has the proportions of a RWD car. The other thing I don't like about the new is that the 3800 is gone. But, man, are the seats in the new one comfortable!

A-hole clients/customers
Can't you just hang up? You know, "Oops, hit the wrong button" unless you have to tell them your name at the beginning. They've dropped me a few times when I'm irate with their incompetence.

Whats Your Nationality?
WMJ, what are you, nuts? German easier than French? Je pense qu'apprendre le Francais est plus facile. Certainment, le Francais est plus proche a l'Italien. Look at the length of those German words! For example, wirtschartsprufer = auditor. Where do you find that capital B doubling for 2 s's, anyway?
