Another question....You said that your Catalina achieved around 14...wouldn't mpg have increased over 2 years therefore increasing mpg on a 66 by 1 or 2 ?

Ah...So I would need premium gas..because it has an octain rating of 93..I guess that it wouldnt be extremely costly...hopefully!

Might I suggest a "loaded" SC2? Preferably 99-up. I think the loaded ones had ricaro seats....

It can be very anoyying to contort around seats and then have to reach ur arm out and crank the window down....although the sunfire is a coupe so its not nearly as bad.

Not the fact of cheapness(my sdaturns door cranks hold up well) It's just that you have to climb over stuff to open all the windows.

Well my dealer at Saturn of Hempstead(his name is kevin) was completely knowledgable. I dont remember much about Town and Country where I bought the Breeze...All I know is that I had a choice of a Red expresso and a silver base and I chose the silver one....and then while I was there, a trailer went on fire and about 20 Chryslers where blown up...it was kind of fun to here a car blowing up every 10 min.! I went with my aunt the first time when she went to look at the PT's...the guy was kind of rushy but told us that we were sitting in a Touring model...she didnt ask too many questions..I kept my mouth shut(for observation of knowledge)...anyway she ended up buy a Linen Gold touring model that next month...for $17k I believe.

You should've looked for a used last gen sunfire....but anyway congrats! Good luck with those evil window cranks...That is the only reason I hate my saturn!

This is why I am concerned with recieving that 66 Electra Convertable...the base engine is a "nailhead" V-8 and its 325hp....and I dont even know if itm has the upgraded engine.

Its so sad that those germans(or w/e) had to cut Plymouth away..they could've done really well.
