Controversial! Manual Transmissions are Over-Rated
I've had plenty of manuals, Hard reality is with bad traffic, and other factors, it really is better and even safer to be in an automatic. Autos are better at FE now, faster to shift, etc. I still would endorse some models out there have Manuals available. Primarily for performance vehicles and fun to drive vehicles. But really nothing like a base Kia Forte should have one. Now, say, if Chevy had a 2.0 Malibu manual in a true RS sports sedan package...maybe.

this 'tourx' idea.....i wonder if it wouldn't be better on a full size RWD/AWD chassis, and larger size like the Avenir concept. They could have the Avenir sedan and a full size TourX ; i know it would still be a low volume product but the vison of a grand touring wagon i think would be even better if the car were larger, 2-4 inches wider, a few inches taller (seat H point 2 inches taller), and 6-8 inches more on the wheelbase. Like CT6 sized....- On Tour - 2019 Buick Regal TourX

Absolute truth. Two things, if GM hadn’t sold Opel (by doing so they created a situation where they are only selling enough on purpose to meet the contract) they might actually want to sell this vehicle. If they did want to sell more maybe they could also sell the decladded versions. The second thing is GM overprices things and messes up the option packaging. Buick’s should have items like heated seats seats and rear armrests standard. Admittedly at the end of the day nowadays anything that is not a crossover is destined to be a niche offering.- On Tour - 2019 Buick Regal TourX
100% spot on. The white frost tourx also should have grey cladding. Not black.- BMW News: 2020 BMW 2-series Gran Coupe Debuts

Quite a bit! I thought the word egress might connect with you. Lol what is the occupant load. ? I don’t mind the high console actually but the getting in and out of the car requires gymnastics to do gracefully as I get older Love this car! But i should have gotten a crossover ?- Niche Time: Four-Door Coupes
- Chevrolet News:Chevy Throws $3k On Camaro's Hood for Mustang Drivers
People are turning away from coupes more and more. If chevy keeps making the Camaro, they may have to live with 50k annual sales or something like that. I think the Camaros look good, they don't have the attractive super wide stance of the first transformers Camaro, but i think where people balk the most on the current Camaro is the bunker aspect and limited visibility. If they don't intend to come out with a new body style that is easier to see out of, about all they can do now is cut prices, or perhaps put in a standard glass top panel or sunroof to at least help with the claustrophobia. Another thing they could do is make a high def rear camera mirror standard on the car as well, to help with the rear visibility issue. Not much they can do with a non existent back seat right now, either. I think maybe they should consider repurposing the CTS-V sport 3.6 twin turbo into a special separate option for the Camaro. I would also drop the 2.0 and replace it as a base motor with the 2.7. Still keep the 3.6 option but i think the 2.7 as a replacement for the 2.0 may generate some interest in the car again. Lastly, if Chevy would simply offer all wheel drive on the Camaro (2.7 and 3.6), that alone would make the car relevant as a daily driver option to someone in the snow states again. No excuse to not finally offer AWD on the Camaro, to be honest. That alone would jump start sales.- On Tour - 2019 Buick Regal TourX
Model year changeover. Plus a strike. Maybe they feel their 19’s don’t need to go any lower because they are enough savings vs a same 2020. And then maybe they figure they need to preserve inventory. I dunno GM does silly things. Smoked pearl is a grey green and wth they discontinued it for 2020. Problems with the mix of the paint I guess. The sportback actually is just as useful as the wagon but call me lazy. I wanted a power hatch and really the sportback should have an optional power hatch for such a big lid. The sportback load floor is lower so the usable space is actually really close This would be hot with the extra spoiler and the nicer wheels than the US GS version. And, if they put the 2.7t in it or the 3.0t v6? Then we’d have a serious sleeper To date, my biggest regret on the car so far is the overbolstered, narrow, kind of hard seats. The support is nice but it’s hard rolling in and out of them for ingress and egress. With the car being so low and all. . And the boosters are just too close together.- VW News: Volkswagen Unveils the Atlas Cross Sport
