I don't know if this has been mentioned lately, but I was at my local Chevy dealer this morning and I noticed that all the 2006 models were wearing the GM badge. Are these going to be on everything or only a select few? I know that some Chrysler products wear a small Pentastar on the passenger front door area, but never knew why for that either...
  2. my wife bought a saturn sl2 new in 99, her first new car. since then the family has grown, our needs have changed, but there really isnt anything at saturn we like. the relay is our size, but doesnt belong there, the ion makes me wish for the sl2. the vue was closest, being a unique vehicle, but it was ruined first with a honda engine and this year a horrible front end makeover. now with all metal cars that are just "different" versions of other divisions, they might as well call the place oldsmobile and be done with it. i like the looks of what is coming, i have high hopes, but it just isnt the saturn we first became enamoured of. -_-
  3. i really like how this thing looks, but i dont know if a soft roader is jeep material. and is it me, or does it look like it have been photoshopped into every landscape?
  4. sadly, it doesnt really matter what the thing looks like, as long as it says honda, people will buy it. blind loyalty happens with any brand tho.
  5. i think that gm should DROP saab. it has no purpose. they didnt get tech or ideas from them and they are watering down the company by selling reskinned gm and subie products there. the only argument would be that they needed an inroad to europe, but that is what opel is for.
  6. the current Viper rear was heavily influenced by the copperhead concept.
  7. those are pretty nice looking for not being "real" Jeeps. too bad there isnt a plymouth around anymore, these could be sold there...

hrm. fancy retro convertible built on existing chassis. sales low due to high price and lower power than expected. to boost sales company adds more power and special edition paint jobs. chevy ssr -or- plymouth prowler ??? funny how they are following the same path. both cars that are beautiful and i will never have.
  9. do we know anything about the holden zetas yet? anything at all? hints for our versions?
  10. with all these new intros, when will the new ion show up?
  11. thedriver replied to toyoguy's topic in Honda
doesnt matter what it looks like, it will sell. its a honda civic, there is an AUTOMATIC market for it. unfortunately there are few GM cars this can be said for.
  12. at first i didnt like these at all, but i have really warmed up to them. except for the rear, its just too...plain. any chance of making the next V-10 a 2 cylinder longer version of this engine?
