  1. That is exactly what happened. Ford decided to slightly modify their version, so they are anything but identical. GM does get around $35 for every Ford version sold though.
  2. Recall how easy it was to swap out the 4 speed RWD on the C6 with a 6 speed RWD. All without a refresh.
  3. Two of those will be changing soon. I'll let you guess which two.
  4. Stiltz replied to evok's topic in General Motors
Why is it that I never hear anyone say leaving the automotive industry was the worst move they have ever made? SE Michigan is in big trouble.
  5. That is bad ass! I have a new answer to that oft-asked question, "If you could drive anything, what would it be?"
  6. The number of Solstii in the parking lot has doubled in the last week. No sightings of any being driven around the neighborhood though. Could GM possibly be storing unsold cars a Roush lot?
  7. I live near Roush building #50 in Livonia. A few weeks ago I noticed a dozen or two of hot little two seater sitting quietly in the parking lot along with the Mustangs and F150s. Any rumors or hearsay out there that would confirm my suspicion that Roush is tinkering with the Solstice?
  8. I've worked at Buick City (Flint North). I would say a large percentage of workers there would be shocked to enter a production environment that Toyota has become famous for. I'll spare the details, but Flint North operates in a manner nowhere near the Toyota Production System.
